Hizbullah Just South of the Border
Tuesday, March 24th, 2009Kalashnikov AK-47 wielding gunmen storm the popular eatery. “What’s up?” the owner asks. His confusion is answered by a Kalashnikov butted into his leg, whereupon he’s abducted to a secret destination.

Casualties of Mexico's Drug Cartel War
Ransom payments from family are made. But that’s not enough. So the kidnappers lop off his finger, and tuck the body part in a box as a “gift” for his girlfriend. Eventually, he was found beheaded, arms and legs chopped off, discarded in a vacant lot.
Beheadings, kidnappings–sounds like the Middle East. Lebanon, maybe Damascus? Think again, this happened just a few miles from the U.S border in Tijuana, Mexico this year.

Hizbullah Means "Party of God"
Murder, kidnapping, and general lawlessness reign supreme in Mexico right now. The drug cartels have literally taken over entire towns. The New York Times reports, “police are no match for the outlaws.”
A lethal vision ignites in my mind–beheadings, kidnappings–all the trademarks of Hizbullah, and other Islamic terrorist organizations.
Indeed, alarming past reports of Islamic terrorist activity in Mexico have lingered. An “Organized Crime and Terrorist Activity in Mexico” report prepared by the Federal Research Division, Library of Congress, under an Interagency Agreement with the United States Government, in 2003 suggested terrorists could already have set up shop just south of America’s border.
Back in 2001, Adolfo Aguilar Zinser, then Mexican national security adviser and ambassador to the United Nations warned, “Spanish and Islamic terrorist groups are using Mexico as a refuge…”
Readers listen up: “Prior to September 11, Zinser’s remarks…

Hizbullah Rally 2005
sparked speculation that the Lebanese Shi’ite terrorist organization Hizbullah may have established cells in Mexico,” the report cautioned.
Wait, there’s more. By January 2002, Felipe Urbiola Ledezma, National Migration Institute official said, “We have people linked to terrorism…[those connected to] ETA, Hizbullah and even some links to Usama Bin Laden.”
If terrorists were hanging out down south in 2002, imagine the territory they’ve conquered to date.
Let’s connect the dots, shall we? Iran’s recent ties to Hugo Chavez in Venenzuela, close proximity to Mexico, are concern enough. With Hizbullah as Iran’s proven proxy, the Lebanese terrorist group has established cells all over Europe, and probably North and South America. What exactly are they planning?

US-Mexican Border
But is anyone listening? “The ongoing [Mexican] violence is a concern, but not a national security threat to the United States,” says Mike Hammer, spokesman for the National Security Council. By the way, Mike, there have been over 700 cartel related kidnappings over the past 2 years in Pheonix alone.
Despite recent beefed up security, there’s relative ease of back and forth flow across the US-Mexican border. Who knows if foreign entities hostile to the United States could be the next crossovers–if they haven’t already. This could be the next 9/11 in the making.
One thing’s for certain–Mexico’s violence these days sure is looking like a radical terrorist satellite just south of the border.
